In our biggest outreach to date, #ItsInTheBag, we collected over 700 medium to large sized purses that were in good condition (no broken straps, zippers, or fastners). We then filled the bags with sanitary products, personal hygiene items, and snacks for women. We delivered the filled bags to five different organizations who were able to then distribute the purses to women in need.

Tender Hearts House of Hope women’s shelter was opened on September 7, 2007 to address the needs of homeless women and children in York County.
The Dove’s Nest
The Dove’s Next is the women’s recovery program of Charlotte Rescue Mission, which for more than 75 years has been helping men and women break the cycle of addiction and homelessness.
Safe Passage
Safe Passage was established for the purpose of offering supportive services to families living in abuse so they could make changes in their lives and eliminate violence. Safe Passage domestic violence services are available for victims/survivors in York, Lancaster and Chester counties in SC.
Pilgrims’ Inn
Pilgrims’ Inn offers residential assistance to those in need through the Dorothy Bing Inn Shelter and Tricia’s Court Apartments. The Dorothy Bing Inn Shelter has a 14 bed capacity for women and children needing shelter from homeless and domestic violence environments.
